ACL injury

The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is an important stabilizing structure of knee joint. ACL injury can produce significant knee instability. ACL injury often occurs when you suddenly change direction or stop movement in sports (such as playing basketball). You will feel severe pain after ACL injury. The knee may swell, which affects joint activities and walking. The best treatment for complete ACL rupture is surgery.
