Amnesia

Amnesia is a deficit in memory caused by brain damage, disease, or psychological trauma. The memory loss can be whole or partial. Amnesia is typically associated with damage to the medial temporal lobe of the brain. Causes of amnesia include head trauma, traumatic events, and physical deficiences of the brain. Many amnesia patients recover by themselves without being treated. For other, they need medication or surgey to address the causes of amenesia.
