Aspergillosis is a group of chronic infection diseases of a type of mold (mainly mycosis fumigatus). It usually affects the respiratory system. It may also invade the skin, mucous membranes, eyes, ear canal, gastrointestinal tract, nervous system or bones. In severe cases, it can lead to sepsis. Depending on the type of mold, antifungal drugs are commonly used. Amphotericin B intravenous infusion combined with oral 5-fluorocytosine have some effect. A small number of cases need surgery.
