Atopic dermatitis (eczema)

Atopic dermatitis (eczema) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease. The itching is very intensive and may last for years. The itching is recurrent. It often affects your arms, lower legs or top of your feet. The cause is unknown, but may be related to immunity system. Avoiding strong soaps and detergents and applying creams or ointments can prevent eczema and relieve itching.
