Boils

Boils and carbuncles are acute suppurative inflammation under the skin. They start as red, tender lumps. Pus rapidly fills the lumps. At first, small boils and carbuncles have local redness, swelling, warmth and pain. Small pus point appears on the center. Large boils and carbuncles can cause systemic symptoms, such as chills and fever. When pus dot appears, you can remove it using a sterilized needle. If you have systemic symptoms, antibiotic treatment should be given.
