Plague is also known as Black Death. Plague is one of the most serious diseases in the human history. It was wide spread in the whole Europe during the 1340s and caused millions of deaths worldwide. It is estimated that 30% of the European population died of plague in the Middle Age. Plague is caused by bacteria called Yersinia pestis.
