Chemo brain

Chemo brain is a common term used by cancer survivors to describe cognitive and memory problems that can occur after cancer treatment. Symptoms of chemo brain include disorientation, confusion, memory problems etc. Although it is called "chemo" brain, it is unlikely that the cognitive impairements are solely caused by chemotherapy. The causes may include the stress caused by the diagnosis of cancer, molecules produced by cancer cells, cancer treatment, complications of cancer treatment such as anemia and infection etc.
