Chronic hives (urticaria)

Chronic urticaria is a common skin disease. Various factors may make the skin and mucous membrane blood vessels congested inflammatorily and a large amount of liquid exudates, causing local edema. Symptoms are sudden local skin redness, itching and swelling. It subsides in a few hours and leaves no sign of damage. It often relapses. Medication includes oral antihistamine and cetirizine hydrochloride.
