Contact dermatitis

Contact dermatitis is allergic reactions of the skin and mucous membrane after contacting some substances. Contact dermatitis occurs mainly in the contact area. Substances causing contact dermatitis can be divided into three categories: animal, plant and chemical substances. Determining which substance causes your symptoms is the key to successful treatment. Once diagnosed, you should avoid contacting the substance as well as other substances with similar chemical structure. Wash the contact area thoroughly. Avoid stimulation by hot water, soap or scratching.
