If there is thrombotic occlusion, blood flowing to the heart muscle may drop suddenly, causing heart attack. This condition is known as coronary artery disease. Severity of coronary sclerosis varies. Mild lesions had no significant effect on the heart and cause no symptom. Severe lesions can cause coronary stenosis and blood supply insufficiency, which can lead to heart failure or even death.Treatment options include drug treatment, interventional treatment and surgery.
