Cystic fibrosis

Cystic fibrosis is a fatal genetic exocrine gland disease. It is most common in the White. The most common symptom is a long-term repeated lung infection, which causes severe damage to the lungs and digestive system. Other possible symptoms include sinusitis, developmental delay, diarrhea, and infertility. If patients are diagnosed early and respiratory infections are controlled and patients are on diet therapy, life can be prolonged. No therapy or drugs can cure this disease yet. The only way to delay the disease progression is lung transplant.
