Dislocated elbow

Dislocated elbow refers to the elbow bones inside the elbow joints are off from the normal position. It can be caused by fall or direct hit. Dislocation can cause elbow deformation, swelling, pain and dysfunction. Swelling usually will fade after the bone positions are restored. There are many important blood vessels and nerves around the elbows. If the dislocation is not treated properly, blood vessels or nerves can be damaged. The harm can be worse than what is caused by the original injury.
