An adult human body has 206 bones. Bones may leave their normal positions after injury, which is called dislocation. Dislocation can further damage the big and small (capillary) blood vessels, muscles and nerves. If not treated, pain will continue and deteriorate. Manual reduction is a commonly used method. After the bones are repositioned, nerves and muscles lesions should be treated too.
