Esophageal cancer

Esophageal cancer is a cancer originating from the esophagus. It can be caused by abnormal proliferation of the squamous cells or glandular cells. The onset is always hidden. There is even no sign at the early stage. Some patients feel there is foreign body in the esophagus or have choking feeling. In late stages patients will have difficulty swallowing. In severe cases, they may even be completely unable to swallow food. Symptoms often include vomiting, abdominal pain and weight loss. Some early esophageal cases can be detected and cured completely.
