Fibroadenoma

Breast fibroadenoma is the most common benign breast tumor. A small percentage of it may turn malignant. It is usually round or oval. Growth is relatively slow and patients have no obvious discomfort. It occurs most commonly in girls and women with age below 30. Treatment may include monitoring the size and nature of the tumor. Surgical removal is also an option.
