Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia refers to pain in fibrous tissues, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and other parts. Any fibrous-muscle tissue can be involved. It is more common in women. Heavy physical activity, mental stress, lack of sleep, injury, wetness and low temperature can cause it or make it worse. There is no cure for fibromyalgia. A variety of drugs can help relieve the symptoms.
