Food poisoning

Food poisoning, also called foodborne illness, is caused by eating contaminated food. Food poisoning can be divided into the following four categories: chemical food poisoning, bacterial food poisoning, mycotoxins and moldy food poisoning, and toxic plants and animals poisoning. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. Patients with severe symptoms should be hospitalized.
