Greenstick fractures

Greenstick fracture is more common in children. Only part of the bone and periosteum (bone membrane) is stretched, wrinkled or ruptured. The injury is like tender green branches, often bending with deformity, but not broken. Greenstick fractures generally are stable fracture. External plaster fixation will have very good results.
