Hyponatremia refers to abnormally low level of sodium in blood stream. Sodium is an electrolyte which can help regulate the amount of water in and out of cells. Main symptoms of hyponatremia are weakness, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, headache, drowsiness and muscle cramps. Treatment of hyponatremia should be based on the of cause of hyponatremia.
