Ice cream headache occurs after you eat some cold food such as ice cream and cold drink. It is caused by coldness stimulates tongue and mouth mucosa. It generally occurs within 30-60 seconds eating cold food. Patients with migraine or other types of headache are more prone to this condition. Once ice cream headache occurs, you should immediately stop consuming cold food.
