Intracranial hematoma is the most common and most serious secondary damage of brain injury. Intracranial hematoma can occur when blood vessels in the brain rupture. When intracranial hemorrhage gathers in certain parts of cranial cavity to a certain level, intracranial hematoma occurs. It may be life-threatening and often requires immediate treatment.
