Because of global warming, seawater pollution and overfishing, the number of jellyfishes increases rapidly on coastal area. The number of jellyfish stinging cases increases accordingly. Jellyfish toxin is very toxic. For example, only dozens of micrograms of C. fleckeri toxin can kill a person. It is regarded as one of the most toxic creatures in the world. Jellyfish sting symptoms include skin irritation, muscle pain, vomiting, difficulty breathing or even death. Less severe sting only needs home treatment. Severe cases require emergency medical care.
