Kawasaki's disease is a disease of fever and rash. The cause is unknown. It is most common in infants and young children. Because it also affects lymph nodes, skin, mouth, nose, throat and mucosa, it is also known as muco-cutaneous lymph node syndrome. Main symptoms include fever, atypical rash, flushing lips, rigid swelling on hands and feet, and swollen neck lymph nodes. Heart damage is also possible. It usually can be cured and most children can recover.
