Kidney cysts

Kidney cysts are cysts appearing in kidneys. The vast majority of patients are adults. It is rare in children. The cause is unclear yet. There is usually no symptom. Some very large renal cysts, especially those with intracystic bleeding or being infected, can cause lower back pain. Simple type renal cyst develops slowly and the prognosis is good. If there is no symptom and there no urinary tract pressure or obstruction, no surgery or medication is needed.
