Listeria infection

Listeria infection is a foodborne illness. The most common transmission method is by improperly handled ready-to-eat meat and dairy products. It can cause meningitis, sepsis, abortion and neonatal infections. If Listeria infects a healthy people, it rarely causes any issue. If it infects a fetus or a neonatal, it can be fatal. Antibiotic is useful.
