Cysts are thin-walled structures containing liquids. Cysts are found in about 5% of the population, they rarely cause any symptoms. If liver cysts symptoms exist, they include upper abdominal fullness, discomfort or pain. If blood bleed into the cyst, it can cause sudden severe right upper abdominal pain. If liver cysts cause severe symptoms, it can be surgically removed through laparoscope.
