Metatarsalgia

Metatarsalgia is inflammatory reaction and pain in the front part of your foot (behind toes). Metatarsalgia is a common disease. Physical activity, wearing ill-fitting shoes or other reasons may cause metatarsal pain. Typically, Metatarsalgia is not serious. Ice, rest or other conservative treatment can relieve pain. In addition, wearing shoes that fit and use pressure-buffering ishoe inserts or arch support pad can prevent or reduce metatarsalgia.
