Mononeuropathy

Mononeuropathy is damage to a single nerve. It is most often caused by injury. Some common types of mononeuropathy include damage of axillary nerve (affecting shoulder), common peroneal nerve (affecting foot and leg), carpal tunnel syndrome (affecting hand and fingers), cranial nerve III, cranial nerve VI (double vision), cranial nerve VII (facial paralysis), femoral nerve (part of leg), radial nerve (part of arm, wrist, and hand), sciatic nerve and ulnar nerve (leg, sole of the foot).


How is Mononeuropathy treated in practice?
