Obstructive sleep apnea

Obstructive sleep apnea is a potentially serious respiratory-sleeping disorder. The mouth is open when patient sleeps. Patients have snoring, breath-holding, sleep disorders and daytime sleepiness. Children may wet their bed. The disease occurs mainly in the elderly and obese people. General treatment includes losing weight, quitting drinking, quitting smoking, sleeping on the side, raising height of pillow, and avoiding over-exertion during the day. There is no effective drug for obstructive sleep apnea yet.
