Ocular rosacea

Ocular rosacea is a chronic inflammatory disease affect ing middle face. It develops slowly. Since the tissues are congested and inflammed repeatedly for a long period of time, connective tissues on nose proliferate and sebaceous glands grow abnormally. Nose tip is enlarged, looking like a big wart. Patients can have dry eyes, foreign body sensation in eyes, tearing, fear of light, blurred vision and some inflammation symptoms in the eyes. There is no cure for ocular rosacea. Timely treatment can help relieve symptoms.
