Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis refers to porous bones or low bone density. In most cases, when a bone lack of calcium, phosphorus and other minerals, it becomes fragile. At early stage, there is usually no symptom. Severe cases often have back pain. If it lasts for a long period of time, you may have humpback. Your height may decrease gradually over time. Patients often have bone fracture. Even slight pressure on bones, such coughing, may cause bone fracture. Hormone therapy is commonly used. Some prescription drugs can help slow down the development, or even increase bone density after long term use.
