Peyronie's disease is caused by abnormal scarring within penis. When scarring is severe, penis will have abnormal curve when erected, along with penis pain. It may lead to erectile dysfunction. Peyronie's disease can lead to stress and anxiety for many patients. It is unclear yet whether any drug is effectiveness in treating Peyronie's disease. If penis deformity is severe or patient is unable to have normal sex, surgical correction is recommended.
