Postpartum preeclampsia

Postpartum pre-eclampsia is a rare disease. It is very harmful to the mother and infant. It often affects women who have pregnancy-induced hypertension. With appropriate care and prevention measures, the incidence of postpartum eclampsia can be reduced. If postpartum preeclampsia is left untreated, it can lead to seizures and other serious complications. If patients have convulsions, it should be controlled as soon as possible. Magnesium sulfate is preferred. Strong sedative drugs can be used when necessary. Airway should be kept open to prevent suffocation.
