Pubic lice (crabs)

Pubic lice are insects living in human body hair. They mainly live in pubic area and around anus, occasionally in thigh and abdomen hair. A pubic louse is about 1-3 mm long and has no wing. They drink human blood as food. Symptoms include genitals rash, pimples and bloody crust. For women, it causes vaginal itching, especially at night. Pubic lice may carry bacteria which can infect human. They can be killed by topical drugs.
