Pulmonary valve stenosis is narrowing of pulmonary artery valve. It obstructs blood flow in pulmonary arteries. It can be a separate disease, or accompanies with other heart malformations. Children with pulmonary valve stenosis usually have no symptoms. Some children can have blue lips after crying. If the condition is mild, there are no symptoms. The condition will not deteriorate over time either, so no treatment is needed. In moderate to severe cases, surgery is required. Treatment is generally effective.
