Retinoblastoma is a malignant tumor that spreads rapidly. It is often seen in children under 5 years old. It affects one or both eyes. The cancer originates from retina. Early symptom is reflection of yellow light at pupil, similar to "cat eye". This disease is prone to spread into skull or to distant areas. It is often life-threatening. Early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment are the key to improving cure rate and lowering mortality. Treatment includes chemotherapy, cryotherapy, radiation therapy, laser therapy and whole eye removal.
