Retractile testicle

Retraction testicle occurs when testicles have descended into scrotum but the position is higher than normal. Testicle can move back and forth between scrotum and groin by hand guidance. The testicles are smaller than usual. There are lesions in testicular lobules. The lesions may spread to seminiferous tubules and interstitial tissues. The lesion may develop gradually resulting in testicular atrophy. Testicles should be fixed in scrotum by surgery to prevent further seminiferous tubules lesions. Patient may be infertile if the condition is not treated.
