Rosacea

Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin disease of nose. It mostly affects the mid-aged people. You will have red rash, papules or pustules on nose and nearby skin. Your nose will become larger and nodules grow under skin over time. This disease progresses slowly. Sometimes symptoms are light and sometimes they are severe, which can last for many years. Once you find your face is too oily and your nose is red and swelling, you should see a skin doctor. There is no cure for rosacea yet, but treatment can control the symptoms. Mild rosacea can be controlled by topical drugs. If it is severe, laser surgery can be done to cut the nodules.
