Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a serious brain disorder. Common symptoms include hallucination, delusion and nonsense talk. Severe patients have a tendency of self-hurting or hurting others, which increases the risk of other social problems. Schizophrenia is a chronic disease that requires lifelong treatment. Currently antipsychotic medications are used. Although it is somewhat effective, it is unlikely to completely cure schizophrenia. The prognosis is poor.
