Scorpion stings

Scorpion tail has a sharp hook. Scorpion stings are very painful. There are more than 1500 species of scorpions but only about 30 species are considered dangerous. If you are stung by a scorpion, self-care is usually enough: quickly pull out the residual sting left in your skin, extrude blood containing toxins, and clean the wound with 3% ammonia, 0.1% potassium permanganate solution or 5% sodium bicarbonate solution. If young children are stung or the case is very severe, you should go to hospital immediately.
