Spider bites are rare. Minutes after spider venom enters the body, it causes local pain. You may also see other skin lesions such as bruising, red rash, papules, swelling and blisters. Local necrosis is also possible. If you are bite by a Black Widow spider, you may have systemic poisoning symptoms. If so, you need anti-venom blood products and hospitalization.
