Stomach polyps

Stomach polyps are benign abnormal growth on gastric mucous membrane. Stomach polyps generally occur in the gastric antrum. A small number are also found in other parts of stomach. Pathologically they can be divided into hyperplastic polyps and adenomatous polyps. There is no symptom when they are in early stage or there is no complication. If there are symptoms, symptoms include abdominal pain, bloating and discomfort. Some patients also have nausea and vomiting. Remove stomach polyps through endoscope is the top choice of treatment.
