Swimmer's itch

Swimmer's itch is skin rash caused by parasites. It usually affects area not covered by swim wear. The itching occurs 1-2 hours or 1-2 days after swimming. Rash may apppear 48 hours after swimming. Itching usually comes before rash. The itch and rash usually disappear several days later. Anti-allergy ointments or anti-itching drugs can be used to control the itch.
