Vasovagal syncope

Vasovagal syncope occurs when you see or experience some triggers such as blood or extreme emotional distress, you body over-react to some triggers and make you faint. The mechanism of vasovagal syncope is the heart rate and blood pressure drops too fast, resulting in reduced blood flow to your brain and then fainting. In most cases, treatment of vasovagal syncope is unnessary. You may learn what are the triggers and how to avoid them. Drugs used to treatment low blood pressure such as ludrocortisone acetate may used to prevent vasovagal syncope. Selective serotonin inhibitors may also be helpful.
