Viral hemorrhagic fevers

Viral hemorrhagic fevers are viral diseases characterized by bleeding and fever. The disease interferes blood's coagulation process. It can also damage walls of tiny blood vessels so that blood can leak out. Common viral hemorrhagic fevers include Ebola, Dengue, Lasa, Marburg and yellow fever. Patients may experience high fever, fatigue and pain in muscles, bones or joints. The bleeding can be from the mouth, eyes or ears, or under the skin, or in internal organs. Severe symptoms or death may occur in severe infection cases. Treatment include antiviral drugs such as ribavirin (Rebetol, Virazole, others) and prevent dehydration. Kidney analysis can be used if the kidney failures.
