Vulvar vestibulitis

The lesser vestibular glands are mucous secreting glands on the vulvar skin. vestibulitis is an inflammation of these glands. It occurs in women of all ages. Symptoms include severe pain with pressure, pain during intercourse, burning and irritation sensation within the vestibular area, vulva redness and urge to urinate. Treatment include steroid ointment, trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) and interferon injection (to improve immunity against infection).
