Water on the knee

Knee joint effusion is a condition that excessive fluid builds up in or around the knee joint. It can be the result of trauma, overuse or underlying diseases. Symptoms include knee swelling, stiffnes and pain. Treatment include pain relievers, oral corticosteroids such as prednisone, joint fluid aspiration, repairing through anthroscopy or joint replaceent.
