Yeast infection is a very common vaginal inflammation. It is even more common in pregnant women. Symptoms include vaginal irritation and intense itching, white odorless vaginal discharge, and burning pain of the outer labia. Anti-fungus drugs such as clotrimazole and miconazole can be used. For most yeast infection cases, clotrimazole creams and suppositories are more effective than nystatin.
