Yellow fever is a viral infection diseases spread by mosquito bite. Yellow fever virus is found in tropical and subtropical areas in South America and Africa. Most people infected with yellow fever has no or little symptoms. Some patients have febrile symptoms including fever, chills, severe headache, body aches etc. Around 15% of cases develop into a more severe form of yellow fever, with symptoms of high fever, jaundice, bleeding, shock and multiple organ failure. Treatment is symptomatic.
